Clay's Joyful Noise 2005 Tour was the second tour he did for the Christmas holidays. He changed it up this year by including vignettes and asking local theatre groups to join in with his production.

Clay and his band had such a great time last year on the first Joyful Noise Tour that they decided to do it again. The tour goes from November 2nd through December 30th. The tour includes actors and dancers this time. Two of the actors will include his former ninth grade chorus teacher Alison Lawrence and Gregory Ellis, a sixth grader, from Raleigh, North Carolina.

The 2005 tour will feature songs from Aiken's platinum-selling "Merry Christmas with Love," the best-selling new holiday album of 2004. The song list will differ from the 2004 tour, and will include a number of songs Clay recorded for the album that didn't appear on the CD, as well as new arrangements for some traditional favorites. "JOYFUL NOISE 2005" tour featured a new element - a series of vignettes with a running storyline, written by Aiken. The vignettes were centered around two main characters, played by Alison and Gregory and supporting roles will be cast in each city with local actors.
