With over 20 years of experience working in the music industry, Jaymes began her career as a music publisher working for such music legends as Quincy Jones and David Geffen. Besides working beside her brother David Foster doing A&R for his Warner Brothers label, 143 Records, working on hits by acts such as The Corrs,  Josh Groban, Michael Bublé, and Renee Olstead, she also worked for 20th Century Fox in an executive capacity. 

She is a previous Trustee for NARAS (The Grammys) and has served on the Television Committee for The Grammy Awards 3 times. Jaymes has also stood on the Los Angeles Board Of Governors.  She enjoys looking for talent and has previously been a judge for the US WB reality television show, Popstars, which discovered the platinum selling group Eden's Crush. Recently, she also started her own company called Peak Productions.

Jaymes was the executive producer for Clay's album A thousand Different Ways and also his latest album On My Way Here. 

On August 8, 2008 she and Clay became parents together, introducing Parker Foster Aiken to the world.
